We wanted to join our experiences in order to generate something new and unique in a part of Valpolicella dedicated to the prince of Veneto wines, the Amarone and we now have an ambitious objective: to enhance the local viticulture to produce a great Valpolicella.

We have linked the technical expertise of the Antica Casa Vinicola Santi with the viticultural potential which Giacomo Galtarossa knows how to extract from his own property.

With the invaluable assistance of an experienced agronomist, Gian Piero Romana, we have identified the best plots in order to obtain the best from them.

Only a part of the property is devoted to our project: reconverting, selecting and replanting we have made an estate within an estate, with the most acclaimed parcels earmarked for the production of wines for the Galtarossa selection.

Famous Galtarossas - Rossano Galtarossa

Rossano Galtarossa (born July 6, 1972 in Padova) is an Italian competition rower and Olympic champion.

He received a gold medal in quadruple sculls at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, together with Agostino Abbagnale, Simone Raineri, and Alessio Sartori.

He received a bronze medal in quadruple sculls at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona and 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , and a bronze in double sculls at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, with Alessio Sartori.

Escrevi a respeito Rosano Galtarossa, ele e um atleta Italiano e ganhou medalha de ouro nas Olimpiadas de 2000 em Sydney.

Eu estava trabalhando no hotel onde ele ficou em Penrith (local onde os eventos de canoagem aconteceram), mais nao tive a oportunidade de conhece-lo pessoalmente

Rossano Galtarossa è un campione di canottaggio a livello mondiale grazie a quattro medaglie olimpiche e a quattro successi nel campionato del mondo nel 4 di coppia (specialità nella quale ha stabilito anche il record del mondo nel 1994).

È l’unico atleta padovano ad aver partecipato a 5 olimpiadi e come lui solo un'altro canottiere azzurro ha raggiunto tale primato. Con l'argento di Pechino, quarto podio olimpico conquistato diventa l'atleta che nella storia del canottaggio italiano ha conquistato più medaglie a 5 cerchi.
